Harry Kane dropped the biggest clue that he was ready to join Manchester City after calling Kevin De Bruyne a “striker’s dream”.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker is set to transfer in the summer after telling the club he would like to leave, and City is said to be his favorite destination.
Kane chatted with Gary Neville for SkyBet’s “The OverLap” earlier this week and was full of praise for De Bruyne, who is a key part of Pep Guardiola’s team.
He began: “When I watch De Bruyne play he is a very special, special player and some of the balls I see being given for City is just an attacker’s dream to be honest.
“But yeah, he’s great – you’ve seen him year after year – he’s a great player with the ball, no ball, hitting. His delivery is as good as I’ve ever seen honestly.”
De Bruyne has recorded 14 Premier League assists this season to help City capture their third title in five years.
They also won the Carabao Cup this season and are preparing for the Champions League final against Chelsea on May 29.

Kane has not yet won a trophy in his career and many have noted that it would be easier for him to do so abroad.
However, the 27-year-old added that he is not particularly interested in leaving English football at this time.
The England captain continued: “I guess injuries would have been the most important thing to me (to keep him from getting a Premier League record).
“Of course there is always the possibility of moving abroad one day, but I don’t think that will be of much interest to me in the near future.
“I feel like I’ve got a good seven or eight years at the top. When you look like (Lionel) Messis, your Ronaldos (Christian), your Ibrahimovics (Zlatan) – they all get better as they reach their 30s first.
“I’m still 27, so I hope I still have a long way to go, so I mean yes, it’s definitely there.”
“I’m still a long way off, but you know I like to constantly think I’ve scored over 20 goals in my Premier League injury-free seasons. So if I can that for the next four or five years, then I’ll be there. “
There is also talk that Chelsea are interested in Kane and are ready to offer the Spurs three players.
Do you think Harry Kane will be leaving Spurs this summer? If so, where will it go?
